If you are a cinnamon fan, you will love this recipe. They may have an unusual name but they amazingly delicious.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs* again if you don't like eggs or are a vegetarian see our substitution page to replace the eggs.
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Directions:
Heat oven to 400F.
DO NOT grease cookie sheet.
Mix all ingredients together except flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Stir those in. Shape dough into 1 1/4 inch balls. Mix 1/4 cup sugar and the cinnamon. Roll balls in mixture and place on cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool on wire rack.
